Recently, the Hebei Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology released the list of pilot enterprises for the 2024 provincial cybersecurity assessment of industrial control systems, and Guangxiang Pharmaceutical of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group was selected as a pilot enterprise.
Recently, the Cybersecurity Administration of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the “Notice on Organizing and Carrying Out the 2024 Pilot Program for Cybersecurity Assessment of Industrial Control Systems,” deciding to launch a pilot program for cybersecurity assessment of industrial control systems in Hebei Province. In accordance with the established procedures, the Hebei Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology selected 44 industrial enterprises, including Hebei Guangxiang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., as the pilot entities for the assessment.
According to reports, the pilot assessment initiative is designed to guide key industrial enterprises across the province in focusing on critical areas such as industrial control system security management, technical safeguards, and secure operations, thereby ensuring that enterprises assume their primary responsibility for cybersecurity and strengthening their capacity to safeguard the cybersecurity of industrial control systems. The initiative aims to enhance the application of research outcomes, explore the establishment of a cybersecurity protection mechanism for industrial control systems, accumulate practical experience in this field, select a number of exemplary cases that can be replicated and scaled up, elevate the overall level of cybersecurity protection for industrial control systems, and support the high-quality development of new-type industrialization.
