With the arrival of spring and the vibrant renewal of all living things, now is the perfect time to plant trees. Recently, the trade union of Hebei Guangxiang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., part of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group, organized a “Adding Greenery to Our Company” tree-planting event. Employees from production workshops and administrative departments joined forces to bring more greenery to the company’s garden-style campus.
At the event site, employees wielded shovels to dig and mound soil, built earthen bunds, and carried water to irrigate the saplings, all working with high spirits and clear division of labor to plant one sapling after another. Under the gentle spring breeze, the newly planted purple-leaf plum, golden-leaf elm, and tall-stemmed euonymus balls stood tall and vigorous, brimming with life.
“This marks the fifth consecutive year that Guangxiang Pharmaceutical has organized tree-planting activities,” said a spokesperson for the company. “Greening and beautifying our plant premises is a concrete manifestation of our commitment to fostering ‘green pharmaceutical’ development. By engaging employees in community-based tree-planting initiatives, we are further instilling an awareness of ecological conservation and environmental protection, reinforcing our sense of responsibility and accountability, and continuously infusing green momentum into our drive for high-quality growth.”
