Collaborative Talent Development between Universities and Enterprises: Hebei University of Technology Students Visit Guangxiang Pharmaceutical for Practical Field Trip

Recently, Hebei Guangxiang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. hosted Hebei University of Technology. Ten student representatives visited the facility to gain a firsthand understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and to establish a practical platform for university–industry exchange.
The students first toured the company’s exhibition hall, gaining a comprehensive understanding of its development history, product portfolio, and corporate culture. They were then escorted by company representatives to visit the state-of-the-art production workshops, quality-control laboratories, and pharmaceutical research institute, where they observed firsthand the drug-manufacturing process, quality-assurance testing, and R&D innovation activities. In addition, the students toured the employee dormitories and cafeteria, gaining a personal sense of the company’s work and living environment as well as its unique corporate culture.
This visit and study program has provided on-campus students with a valuable opportunity to engage directly with frontline production operations and gain insight into industry trends, serving as a concrete initiative by the university to advance hands-on teaching and deepen collaborative talent development between the institution and enterprises. The activity has not only strengthened students’ intuitive understanding of their specialized knowledge and its practical applications but has also laid a solid foundation for further expanding areas of university–enterprise cooperation and exploring new models of talent cultivation. Students unanimously expressed that the field visit was highly rewarding and has given them clearer perspectives on their future career planning and personal development.
