On March 6, the Cangzhou Lingang Economic and Technological Development Zone held a mobilization conference and summary-and-award ceremony for high-quality development in 2026, at which enterprises that have made outstanding contributions to the zone’s high-quality development were solemnly commended. Hebei Guangxiang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group was awarded the “Leading Enterprise Award for Scientific and Technological Innovation” in recognition of its exceptional performance in this field.
Leveraging the advantages of innovation platforms such as the nationally recognized sub-center of the Enterprise Technology Center, Guangxiang Pharmaceutical Group places innovation at the core of its strategy, continuously increasing R&D investment and securing successive approvals for new API products. In 2025, Guangxiang Pharmaceutical obtained approval for 12 new APIs, bringing its total portfolio to 54 and establishing a robust product lineup that spans both bulk and specialty APIs. Backed by uncompromising quality and a strong reputation, its flagship product—caffeine—and the company itself have successively earned EU CEP certification and China Customs’ AEO Advanced Certification, positioning Guangxiang as a premier supplier to numerous domestic formulation manufacturers. Its products are now exported to more than 60 countries and regions across Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, and beyond, steadily enhancing the brand’s influence and strengthening its market competitiveness.
The conference emphasized that all levels across the region must summon the courage for self-reform: conduct a thorough internal examination to identify deep-rooted problems, undertake radical measures to eradicate chronic ills, implement targeted interventions to establish robust institutional mechanisms, and translate the results of improving work style into faster project implementation, more attentive service delivery, and greater public satisfaction. In this way, we will ensure that cadres adopt a down-to-earth work style, deliver warm and responsive services, and earn a strong reputation among businesses. Ultimately, we will make “what is said must be done, what is decided must be carried out, and what is undertaken must be done well” the most distinctive hallmark of Party members and cadres in the Lingang Industrial Park.
The conference emphasized the need to uphold the goal of achieving market efficiency, effective government action, business benefits, and tangible gains for the public; to focus on resolving the pain points, bottlenecks, and challenges hindering enterprise development; and to comprehensively deepen reforms of government services, ensure that pro-business policies are delivered directly and swiftly to enterprises, strengthen guarantees for key production factors, help enterprises reduce costs and improve efficiency, and refine the mechanisms for regular, institutionalized communication between government and enterprises. Through more vigorous efforts, more concrete measures, and higher-quality services, we will truly make the business environment the most prominent hallmark and the strongest soft power of Lingang. During the 15th Five-Year Plan period, we aim to transform the Lingang Industrial Park into a major base in Northern China for high-end synthetic new materials, new energy industries, sustainable aviation fuel demonstration projects, and the national centralized production base for green pharmaceutical APIs.
