【SUMMARY】 Recently, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the National Postdoctoral Administration Committee approved the establishment of a postdoctoral research workstation at Hebei Guangxiang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. of Shisi Pharmaceutical Group, enabling the company to carry out postdoctoral research. This represents another significant initiative by Shisi Pharmaceutical Group to attract and cultivate high-caliber talent, strengthen industry–university–research–application collaboration, and continuously enhance its capacity for independent innovation.

According to available information, a postdoctoral research workstation is an organization established within enterprises, research-and-production-oriented public institutions, and certain specialized regional entities that has been approved to recruit and train postdoctoral researchers. It serves as an effective platform for integrating industry, academia, and research and for strengthening enterprises’ capacity for independent innovation, playing a crucial role in attracting and pooling postdoctoral talent, enhancing corporate technological innovation, and promoting the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements.
A relevant official from Shisiyao Group stated that the approval for Guangxiang Pharmaceutical, a subsidiary of the group, to establish a postdoctoral research workstation will facilitate the cultivation of high-end talent and the research and implementation of innovative projects. This initiative will promote pragmatic cooperation between the company and universities and research institutions, strengthen and expand the company’s research and innovation workforce, continuously enhance its capabilities in independent R&D and innovation, bolster its core competitiveness, and contribute positively to the company’s healthy, sustainable, and rapid development.

Han Shuqin, Chairperson of Shisiyao Group Guangxiang Pharmaceutical, stated that the company will leverage the group’s strong talent pool to increase R&D investment, vigorously advance and implement collaborative postdoctoral training programs with domestic and international universities and research institutes, and fully capitalize on the complementary strengths of enterprises in technology and applied practice and those of universities and research institutions in faculty resources and basic research.
