On December 14, Li Zhixin, Vice Chairman of the Tangshan Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and Chairman of the Tangshan Municipal Committee of the China Association for Promoting Democracy, led a research team on the topic “Vigorously Developing Tangshan’s Marine Productive Service Sector to Build a High Ground for Marine Economic Development” on a special fact-finding mission to Huanghua City in Cangzhou. Zhao Jianbo, Vice Chairman of the Huanghua Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, attended the event.
The research delegation visited the Cangzhou Lingang Economic Development Zone, where they conducted on-site investigations at Hebei Guangxiang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group, the Bohai New Area Green Chemical Research Institute of Nankai University, Bohai Polytechnic Vocational College, and other institutions. Through these visits, the delegation gained a thorough understanding of Cangzhou’s innovative practices and successful experiences in developing marine-related productive service industries.
At Guangxiang Pharmaceutical, Li Zhixin and his delegation listened attentively to a briefing by Chairman Zhu Shujie on the company’s R&D innovation, international operations, digital transformation, and future development plans. They commended the company for fully leveraging its coastal location, proactively pursuing international certifications, expanding into global markets, and continuously enhancing its export-oriented economic development.
The research team stated that it will thoroughly study Cangzhou City’s practical experience in developing the marine economy, formulate high-quality policy recommendations, provide reference for decision-making by the Tangshan Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, and help Tangshan become a leading hub for marine economic development.
