“Unity is strength—strength as hard as iron, strength as strong as steel…” The rousing chorus echoed from the grand conference room of the Group’s Guangxiang Pharmaceutical Comprehensive Building, instantly igniting the entire venue. Recently, the company held its inaugural choral competition, themed “Carrying Forward the Red Spirit and Uplifting a New Chapter of Endeavor.” Employees revisited red classics through song, expressed their love for the Party and country, showcased a positive and energetic spirit, strived to achieve the year’s targets, and forged an immense force of unity and determination.
With high spirits and radiant energy, each participating team took to the stage one after another, passionately performing a series of timeless melodies that bear the indelible mark of our era: the majestic grandeur of “Defend the Yellow River,” the resolute and heroic fervor of “Unity Is Strength,” and the soaring fighting spirit of “The Battle Hymn of the People’s Liberation Army” all blended together to create waves of sound that rose and fell in turn, repeatedly driving the atmosphere at the venue to a thrilling climax. The performers’ full-bodied emotions and clear, rousing choral singing vividly embodied the spirit of Guangxiang employees—working in unison and striving relentlessly to forge ahead.
After a thrilling competition, the Warehouse Services Department took first prize with a rousing performance of “Unity Is Strength”; Workshop 601 won second prize for their heartfelt rendition of “Rest Assured, Party—A Strong Nation Depends on Me”; and the joint team comprising the Equipment Department, Finance Department, and Human Resources Department secured third prize with a powerful singing of “The Battle Hymn of the People’s Liberation Army.”
“This was an inspiring spiritual cleansing that has further strengthened our unwavering confidence in achieving this year’s business targets at Guangxiang Pharmaceutical,” said the employees who took part in the choral competition. They pledged to translate their patriotic sentiments and aspirations to serve the country into concrete actions by excelling in their respective roles and making meaningful contributions, thereby driving the company’s innovative, high-quality development.
